BEL OMBRE

CASE NOYALE

Case Noyale is the perfect place to embrace a slow Sunday. Indulge in the authentic culture of this small fishing village as you drive along the scenic route of Petite Rivière Noire. You will discover a mangrove shoreline that is home to an extraordinary biodiversity. Near the traditional wooden pirogues resting on the beach, crabs can also be seen trying to escape from excited children.

The village invites you for a journey out of time with its charming stone post office, a symbol of the Mauritian architectural heritage. Next to the building is a majestic Banyan tree that has been guarding it for a lifetime. Nature and history sit in perfect harmony, delighting serenity seekers and photographers. You will be unable to leave this place without capturing the magic of the golden hour.

CHAMAREL

Chamarel embodies nature’s inherent beauty. Situated in the South West of Mauritius, the village offers a myriad of destinations within a destination. You will be able to admire some of its awe-inspiring attractions from the Chamarel View Point, before being immersed in these Gardens of Eden.

Surrounded by the green lush forest and breathtaking mountains, the 100-metre Chamarel Waterfalls are the highest tumbling waterfalls on the island.
Here, nature is protected and cherished. The forest is home to more than a hundred different endemic and native plant species and is a real refuge for endangered birds such as the Pink Pigeon and the Echo Parakeet.
A renowned natural wonder in Mauritius, the Chamarel 7 Coloured Earth is a geological phenomenon of volcanic origin. Its sand dunes feature a spectacular palette of colours where layers of red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple and yellow all mingle in perfect harmony.
